Bring Up the Bodies Novel by Hilary Mantel

Bring Up the Bodies is the second book in the Thomas Cromwell trilogy by the late British author Hilary Mantel. The 2012 historical novel, a sequel to the 2009 book Wolf Hall, focuses on the years 1535–1536 and the downfall of King Henry VIII's second wife, Anne Boleyn. Mantel won her second Man Booker Prize for the novel, making her the first British author and the first woman to win the award twice. The trilogy was completed with The Mirror & the Light, published in 2020.
